UAE e-invoicing software: compliant invoices in the PINT AE format connected to an Accredited Service Provider

The UAE e-invoicing programme replaces the PDF invoice with structured data exchanged through Accredited Service Providers on the Peppol network, with the Federal Tax Authority receiving the invoice data. Next Orbit provides e-invoicing software that is ready for it: e-tijariX, the commerce, inventory and ERP platform we implement and support, issues invoices in the UAE PINT AE format with an integration path to an Accredited Service Provider, and our custom ERP builds include the same compliance layer.

  • PINT AE invoices
  • ASP integration path
  • VAT and Corporate Tax reports
  • e-tijariX or custom ERP
  • E-invoicing readiness assessment
  • e-tijariX with UAE e-invoicing
  • E-invoicing layer for a custom or legacy ERP
  • Connector for a packaged ERP

Quick answer

What is e-invoicing and who is it for?

UAE e-invoicing software produces invoices as structured data in the PINT AE format, sends them through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) on the Peppol network and keeps the status, acknowledgements and audit trail for every document. Next Orbit offers it in two ways: on e-tijariX, the platform we implement and support, whose finance module issues PINT AE invoices with VAT and Corporate Tax reporting and an ASP integration path, or inside a custom ERP we build for your operation. The programme is phased by business size; we confirm your phase with your adviser and plan the switch-over to match it.

  • What changes. Invoices become structured XML exchanged between accredited providers; tax data reaches the authority as part of the exchange; B2B and B2G transactions are in scope.
  • What the software must do. Produce PINT AE invoices with the mandatory fields, handle credit and debit notes, track provider responses, archive every document and reconcile with the ledger.
  • What we deliver. Readiness assessment, master-data clean-up, tax code mapping, the e-invoicing layer on e-tijariX or your ERP, the ASP connection, testing and go-live support.
  • Office. Next Orbit Technologies L.L.C, 509-23, Mai Tower, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, serving the whole UAE, the GCC and globally.
  • Built around your operation The architecture is agreed with you before any code, so the system fits how you already work.
  • Proven before you commit A prototype built around your workflow shows it working before the main investment.
  • Ready for the UAE Arabic and English, UAE compliance such as VAT and e-invoicing where it applies, UAE hosting where your rules require it, secure by design.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • Laravel / PHP
  • .NET
  • REST APIs / Webhooks

Deliverable 04

Connector for a packaged ERP

Where you keep SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho or another package, a connector extracts invoice data, validates and enriches it, submits it through the provider and writes the result back.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • REST APIs / Webhooks
  • Node.js
  • Laravel / PHP

Deliverable 05

Master data and tax code clean-up

Customer TRNs and legal names, product tax codes, invoice numbering and approval flows corrected before go-live, because the exchange rejects what a PDF would have hidden.

From the stack

  • PostgreSQL
  • Node.js
  • Laravel / PHP
  • .NET

Deliverable 06

Testing, go-live and support

End-to-end tests with your provider, parallel running, user training in English and Arabic, and support through the first filing periods.

From the stack

  • Node.js

How a typical e-invoicing system fits together

Before a line of production code is written we draw the system: the people who use it, the services behind it and the systems it must talk to. This reference architecture from our ERP development practice is the starting point we adapt to your operation.

Who it is for

Organisations we build e-invoicing for

  • Trading and distribution

High invoice volumes across B2B dealers and retail, a natural fit for e-tijariX.

  • Contractors and project businesses

Progress billing, retention and variations that must map cleanly to structured invoices.

  • Service companies

Recurring and milestone invoicing with VAT across several entities.

  • Groups with several entities

Questions, answered

E-invoicing in the UAE: questions we are asked

01 What is the UAE e-invoicing programme?

A Ministry of Finance and Federal Tax Authority programme under which businesses exchange structured electronic invoices through Accredited Service Providers on the Peppol network, in a five-corner model where the FTA receives the invoice data. Invoices use the UAE PINT AE format. Confirm scope and dates with the FTA and your tax adviser; this page is not tax advice.

02 When does e-invoicing become mandatory in the UAE?

The programme is phased. As announced, a pilot and voluntary phase starts on 1 July 2026; businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more appoint a provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027; smaller businesses appoint a provider by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027; government transactions follow from 1 October 2027. Dates can change, so check the FTA’s current guidance.

03 Is e-tijariX ready for UAE e-invoicing?

Yes. e-tijariX, which Next Orbit implements and supports, generates invoices and credit notes in the PINT AE format from its finance module and provides an integration path to an Accredited Service Provider, alongside VAT and Corporate Tax reporting.

04 Do we need to replace our ERP?

Not necessarily. If your ERP keeps good master data and tax logic, a connector can extract, validate and submit invoices through a provider. If the ERP cannot hold the required fields or is already fragile, moving to e-tijariX or a custom ERP may be the better route. We assess both options in the readiness review.

05 What is an Accredited Service Provider?

A provider accredited by the Ministry of Finance to validate and transmit e-invoices on the Peppol network and report the required data to the FTA. Businesses connect to one provider; the provider handles the exchange with the buyer’s provider and the authority.

06 Does e-invoicing apply to B2C sales?

As announced, B2B and B2G transactions are in scope and B2C transactions are excluded for now. Retail sales still need VAT-compliant invoices and reporting; e-tijariX handles both.

07 What should we prepare now?

Clean customer TRNs and legal names, product and service tax codes, invoice numbering and approval flows, and decide where invoices are created across your systems. Those steps take the longest and are needed whichever software you choose.
