Multi-vendor marketplace development UAE: vendor onboarding, commissions, payouts and bilingual storefronts

Next Orbit delivers multi vendor marketplace development in the UAE for operators who want sellers, buyers and the platform to transact in one place. A marketplace is more than a store with many brands. It needs vendor onboarding and KYC, catalogue control, commission rules and order splitting. It also needs payments and payouts, disputes and VAT-correct invoicing for every party. We build these as a custom web and mobile platform, in Arabic and English.

Quick answer

What is marketplace platforms and who is it for?

Multi vendor marketplace development in the UAE builds a platform where many sellers list products and buyers order from several vendors at once. The operator earns commissions while controlling quality. Next Orbit designs and builds the storefront, vendor portal and operator console as a custom web and mobile platform. It covers vendor onboarding and KYC, catalogue approval, commission rules, split orders, UAE payment gateways, payouts, returns and disputes. Each party receives VAT-compliant invoices. Platforms are bilingual in Arabic and English and run as SaaS or as a dedicated deployment where your compliance rules require it. The work is delivered from Dubai for operators across the UAE and the GCC.

  • What a marketplace needs. Vendor onboarding with trade licence and bank checks, catalogue rules and commission and fee logic. Then one checkout that splits into vendor orders, payouts, disputes and tax-correct documents for every party.
  • What the operator controls. Which vendors go live, which products are approved, how commissions are set and when payouts run. Also how disputes are resolved and what the dashboards show about gross sales and take rate.
  • What we deliver. Discovery and marketplace design, storefront, vendor portal and operator console, payment and payout integration and mobile apps. Then testing, launch and a support plan with planned releases.
  • Office. Next Orbit Technologies L.L.C, 509-23, Mai Tower, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, serving the whole UAE, the GCC and globally.
  • Built around your operation The architecture is agreed with you before any code, so the system fits how you already work.
  • Proven before you commit A prototype built around your workflow shows it working before the main investment.
  • Ready for the UAE Arabic and English, UAE compliance such as VAT and e-invoicing where it applies, UAE hosting where your rules require it, secure by design.

Questions, answered

Marketplace platforms in the UAE: questions we are asked

01 What does multi vendor marketplace development in the UAE cost?

It depends on the vendor model, payment and payout complexity, logistics and mobile apps. B2B features such as credit terms and approvals add scope. We scope a first release with you and quote a fixed price for it. Later releases, such as new regions or subscription tiers, are planned and priced separately.

02 Can you build a B2B marketplace platform in the UAE?

Yes. B2B marketplaces add trade account registration with trade licence and VAT checks. They also need price lists by customer group, request-for-quote flows, credit limits, approvals and bulk ordering. Our ERP for trading companies page shows how the same accounts, prices and stock run in the back office.

03 How do vendor onboarding and commissions work in your platforms?

Vendors apply online, upload their trade licence, VAT registration and bank details and sign terms electronically. The operator reviews and approves them and sets a commission rule by category, vendor or tier. The platform then calculates fees, earnings and VAT on each order. Vendors see statements and payouts in their portal.

04 How are marketplace payments and payouts handled with UAE gateways?

Buyers pay once through a UAE payment gateway with cards, Apple Pay or buy-now-pay-later. The platform splits the order by vendor and schedules payouts by bank transfer. Where the gateway offers split settlement, payouts can run through it instead. Payout runs, holds for disputes and statements are controlled by the operator.

05 Do you also do marketplace app development in Dubai for iOS and Android?

Yes. Buyer and vendor apps are built with Flutter or natively and share the same APIs as the web platform. Orders, chat, notifications and payouts therefore stay in sync. See our mobile app development page for how app projects run from Dubai.

06 How is VAT handled across the buyer, vendor and platform?

Each party gets the right document. The seller of record issues a tax invoice to the buyer, and the platform issues a commission invoice to the vendor. The operator receives reports for the VAT return. Rules are configured with your tax adviser; this page is not tax or legal advice. Our UAE e-invoicing page covers upcoming requirements.

07 Can vendors run their own back office on the platform?

The marketplace gives every vendor a portal for products, orders, returns and statements. Vendors that need full inventory, purchasing, finance and payroll can run e-tijariX, which Next Orbit offers, implements and supports. It connects to the marketplace by API. Request a demo on our sample data to see both together.
