ESG software in the Middle East: carbon accounting, ESG reporting and sustainability data for GCC groups
ESG software in the Middle East has to handle regional realities. Utility bills arrive in Arabic, fuel and desalination data matter, and entities span free zones and the mainland. Reporting frameworks also differ between the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. Next Orbit builds ESG and carbon accounting software that captures emissions and sustainability data from your systems. It calculates footprints with auditable factors and produces reports your board and regulators can trust.

Quick answer
What is ESG software and who is it for?
ESG software in the Middle East collects environmental, social and governance data from many entities and converts activity data into emissions with documented factors. It produces reports aligned to the frameworks regulators and investors in the region expect. Next Orbit builds ESG software that imports energy, fuel, water, waste, travel and HR data from ERP, BMS, IoT and supplier sources. It calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with an audit trail on every figure and tracks targets. Disclosures cover UAE, Saudi and GCC requirements as well as international standards such as GRI and ISSB. The software works in Arabic and English, is delivered from Dubai across the region, and runs as SaaS or in a dedicated deployment.
Data from systems. Energy, fuel, water, waste and fleet data arrive from ERP, BMS, IoT meters and supplier portals through integrations, so the annual scramble for spreadsheets ends.
Every figure traceable. Each reported number links to its source records, the emission factor used and the person who approved it. That is what assurance providers and auditors ask for.
Frameworks that change. Reporting templates are configurable, so new UAE, Saudi or GCC disclosure rules and updates to international standards are added without rebuilding the system. Not tax or legal advice.

Deliverable 01
Carbon accounting with auditable factors
Activity data for fuel, electricity, district cooling, refrigerants, water, waste, travel and purchased goods is converted to emissions. Regional grid factors and recognised factor sets are used, versioned and dated. Every calculation keeps its inputs, factor and approval, and restatements are tracked when factors change.

Deliverable 02
ESG sustainability software in Dubai
A single platform for environmental, social and governance data across entities: energy and emissions, health and safety incidents, workforce and Emiratisation data from HR, diversity, training hours, supplier assessments and governance policies. Each metric has an owner, a collection schedule and evidence attached.

Deliverable 03
Disclosure reports and frameworks
Configurable report templates for UAE and GCC regulator requirements, stock exchange ESG guidance and international standards such as GRI, ISSB and CDP. Reports are generated from approved data with narrative sections drafted for human review, and a changelog shows what moved since the last disclosure.

Deliverable 04
Data capture and integrations
Connectors for ERP, HR and payroll, BMS, IoT meters, fleet telematics and supplier portals, with Arabic and English bill extraction for sites without meters. Missing and anomalous readings are flagged, estimates are marked as such, and data owners are reminded automatically before each reporting cycle.

Deliverable 05
Targets, scenarios and dashboards
Science-based or internal targets tracked by entity, site and scope, with dashboards for boards, operations and sustainability teams. Scenario tools estimate the effect of fleet electrification, solar, cooling upgrades or supplier changes on emissions and cost. Investment decisions then use the same data as reporting.

Deliverable 06
Assurance support and operations
Evidence packs, audit logs and factor documentation are exported for assurance providers in the format they ask for. Next Orbit supports the platform after launch, adds entities and metrics as the group grows and updates templates when frameworks change. Not tax or legal advice.

01What should ESG software in the Middle East handle?
Multi-entity data across UAE, Saudi and wider GCC operations, Arabic and English source documents, and regional grid and fuel factors. It should also cover desalinated water and district cooling, Emiratisation and workforce data, and reporting templates for regional regulators as well as international standards. Next Orbit builds ESG software with these needs designed in rather than added later.
02What are your climate and ESG software solutions in the UAE?
Carbon accounting, ESG data collection, disclosure reporting, targets and scenario analysis, built on your systems and delivered from Dubai. The wider climate and ESG innovation programme, including monitoring tools for energy, water and tree cover, is described at climate and ESG innovation. ReLeaf AI, the tree monitoring and carbon platform in that programme, is at ideation stage and not yet launched.
03Do you build ESG sustainability software in Dubai for groups?
Yes. Groups with several entities, free zone and mainland companies and sites across emirates are typical clients. The platform holds one data model with entity-level ownership and consolidated reporting. A group in Dubai can report at holding level while each subsidiary keeps its own evidence and approvals.
04Does your carbon accounting software in the UAE use local emission factors?
Yes. Grid electricity factors for each emirate and GCC country, district cooling, desalinated water and regional fuel specifications are loaded as versioned factor sets. Internationally recognised sets cover categories without local data. Each factor carries its source and date, and you choose which set applies to each entity and year.
05Which frameworks does the ESG reporting platform in the GCC support?
Templates cover UAE and GCC regulator and stock exchange ESG guidance and national climate and sustainability strategies. International standards such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD and CDP are included. Because frameworks change, templates are configurable and Next Orbit updates them as rules evolve. Framework applicability is confirmed with your advisers; this is not tax or legal advice.
06Can the software integrate with our ERP and building systems?
Yes. Energy, fuel, water, waste, travel and HR data are pulled from ERP, HR and payroll, BMS, IoT meters, fleet telematics and supplier portals. APIs or scheduled imports do the work. For sites without meters, Arabic and English bills are extracted and flagged as estimates until validated, so the data trail stays honest. See IoT development.
07Do you serve clients in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Saudi Arabia?
Yes. We work from one office in Dubai and deliver ESG software in the Middle East for clients in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates. We also serve Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain. Workshops run on site or online, and the platform runs as SaaS or in a dedicated deployment close to your data.
